Hood, pocket and cuff details

Small details decide whether a big and tall hoodie lasts. These come straight from the makers’ own descriptions:

A double-lined or three-piece hood holds its shape better than a single layer, and rib with spandex springs back after you push the sleeves up.

Colors and layering

Darker colors such as black, navy and charcoal hide wear on a work hoodie. A hoodie layers well under an open flannel or a work jacket; if you plan to wear one over it, try the jacket on over the hoodie size you choose, since a 4XL hoodie under a 4XL jacket can feel crowded at the shoulders. 4. Read the chart on the listing; brand charts differ by an inch or two at the same label.
